If you're like a few people I know (naming no names and including me), you may have:

  • strong imaginations of becoming a published author and are hiding behind the excuse of procrastination;

  • streams of amazing content in various formats - that when collated could be a ready-made book - but remains hidden from the world due to an affliction called 'I'lldoittomorrowtitis'.

  • published a jazzy covered e-Book or Kindle version and have talked yourself into believing this qualifies you to make claims of being 'a published author'.

If you resonate with any of these situations then this podcast could very well be the game changer that transforms your thoughts to empowered action.

Think about this quote from Edwin Markham:“Choices are the hinges of destiny.” If at this time last year, today was once your destiny, what crucial choices did you make that have led you to here?

What different choices would you have made, or different decisions would you have taken, that could have given an improved outcome?

If where you are now is a direct reflection of the quality of your decision-making skills, where 1 is not quite and 10 is absolutely, how satisfied are you with your ability to make those crucial decisions that lead to your life moving in the best possible direction?

Many factors influence the decision-making process, sometimes making it hard to determine the exact right thing to do. When deciding what action to take, do you focus on what others think or do you move forward with conviction through listening to your inner guide?

No-one is perfect and if I knew then what I know now, there are some things I myself would have done differently if given a second chance. But life is not like that. There is a rarely a second chance to relive a moment and all we can do is reflect upon 'if only's'.

At times, there is no allowance of time to ruminate and ponder. We may be forced to make a decision on something that impacts on an entire life - yours or someone else's - and trust that we have concluded the right thing.

Moving into intentional thinking is to apply 'conscious thought' when deciding what to do. Download a FREE Self-coaching Tool on 'How to Make Better Decisions About Your Life' HERE.

Liji Reid who is my guest in this edition of The Coaching Lounge Podcast sends a strong message to "be serious about your life". It's very rare that we get second chances, therefore, in this energy space of making an effective decision, Liji's message is one of encouragement to make yourself a priority and be the CEO of your life.

When I interviewed Liji, I got a clear sense of his awareness that his success in life is fashioned through the dots - each dot being the 'conscious thinking' he has made that has led to effective decisions, not only in business but in friendship, education and other aspects of his life too. Tune in to get an insight into the type of thinking that entrepeneur does, that paves the way for success.

Have you ever been in a relationship when things haven’t been going right and wished you could talk to someone about what was going on? You may have wanted to get another perspective on what’s happening and reached out to the listening ear of a friend for comfort and support.

The only problem with that is those cosy chats with a girlfriend or boyfriend can easily turn into a bashing session, rather than remain a constructive dialogue that encourages exploration of a new way to approach what’s going on with your significant other.

When it comes to relationships, we can be conditioned to struggle through our challenges alone. To seek support from a professional who can help us forge a clear way ahead through the rough patch may be the last thing we consider. I wonder just how many partnerships might be saved if support was enlisted from a professional relationship therapist. This is a vital role through which space for peaceful, meaningful communication, where both parties feel heard and can express without judgment is created.

Recently, I had a lovely chat with relationship counselor, Marion Hanson, who joined me on The Coaching Lounge Podcast. As well as discussing some situations that cause problems in relationships, we delved into:

  • What communicating with an agenda really means.
  • Approaches to take that can cultivate a relationship.
  • Whether a relationship can ever survive an affair.
  • What single men and women should do if they are seeking a partner.

Too often, women take for granted the tremendous contribution they make to society. It can be true to say that some women make their contribution to the world through selfless acts, in which very often, they put others first and themselves last.

In this podcast episode, recorded in September 2013, I discuss the ripple effect and how simple acts can result in amazing outcomes that have a tremendous impact on others.

Be encouraged to reflect on your own self-less acts and the wider impact that YOUR contribution makes to the world - that can very often be taken for granted - not only by others but by yourself!

You will also learn about Rebecca's experience and her recount of how 'The Ripple Effect' culminated in her delivery of a speech at the Unifero Conference in Iasi, Romania, at the invite of the President and Founder of this organization, Smaranda Livescu.

Dedicated to all women everywhere, this show is to remind you of your greatness and that you are indeed Phenomenal. YOU make a difference to the lives of others. Will you stand up and be counted?

In our discussion, we explored what Sherry needed to do to remain grounded and rooted throughout her transition, that was as a direct result of intentionally creating a purposeful space wherever she was.

If you are going through any type of transition, this podcast will provide essential tips and strategies for ‘How to Create Interior Abundance Wherever You Are’.
